Practical Dynamo Course – Lighting Design

The objective of this video is to show how you can use Revit lighting fixtures and schedule to assist you in lighting design.

Besides that Dynamo script is able to change the power of the lighting fixtures and automatically place a calculated number of fixtures in the room.

The user needs to place one fixture inside the space, to select that fixture and top face. Also, what the user needs to do is to set the X-direction distance between the fixtures and to type what is required illumination for that space.

Note that is just one example of how you can complete the calculation and placement of the fixtures if you want to adjust this workflow for your needs you can contact me for a custom script on the Contact page.

Please make sure that before you start using this script that you back up your existing project model.

Also, if you want to download this (and all other scripts) with my sample files please visit the Shop page.
