This script will do just that. It will give you information regarding the location for all elements in your project. I did take for example Mechanical Equipment and Pipes categories. If you need this script for different types of categories I’m sure that you will be able to change that. If not, feel free to visit the Contact page and contact me.
The logic behind this script is that all elements will be set on the height 0 (on the referent level) and after that, we will intercept “collision” of elements and rooms. That is why this script will perfectly work even for the elements in the plenum area.
Please make sure that before you start using this script that you back up your existing project model.

The script uses only Dynamo nodes (no packages required). Dynamo version 2.3.0.
