The script can filter and isolate elements by type. It can work in two different cases.
In the first case, when the user runs the script, it will retrieve all elements from the active view. The script will find categories that are visible in the view and offer the user a choice to select a category. Then, for the selected category, the user will find all family types in the second dropdown list. Upon choosing a type, the script will find all instances and isolate them in the view.
In the second case, the user can select elements and run the script. Then, the user can skip the first dropdown list, because the script will now use the selected elements to find all types. From the second dropdown list, the user can choose a type, and the script will isolate elements that belong to that type.
