If you are tired of creating the boundaries for the ceilings and splitting the walls around the rectangular columns, then this is the perfect script for you.
Because of the restriction of the Revit API, we cannot create new ceilings and modify boundary for the ceilings throughout Dynamo but we can void the area which is in interference with the column.
The script will automatically detect the position of the columns and position the void in the same place. If the column is rotated, the void family will automatically align to the column angle and in the end, our void family will cut the ceiling and wall. In this way, you will not have any more clashes between the ceilings and the columns and this also applies to the walls and columns.
Please make sure that before you start using this script that you back up your existing project model.
