I did create a set of scripts that can help with the creation of the wall and floor tiles. The script does not have a high level of flexibility. There is no UI, the user needs to change values inside the Dynamo but if needed you can always order a custom script or you can continue to work on the scripts.
We have 5 different scripts. The first script will create wall tiles, the second script is able to check and highlight all tiles which are involved in clashes with other elements and the third script will reset all red-colored elements. The script floor tiles will create floor tiles and the final script is able to calculate the total area of the floor and wall tiles divided by material.
The script will automatically create new types of tiles and it will help with 80-90% of the total job with the creation of the tiles. After scripts create tiles the user will usually need to adjust the position of the tiles to better fit will all other elements in the room.
Please make sure that before you start using this script that you back up your existing project model.
