In this video, I did show two most used ways that you can use in order to import geometry from Dynamo.
The first way is more direct, you will connect geometry and choose a view and Dynamo will import that geometry into your Revit project. That as a consequence will set as family instance name and category some unique value (GUID). Then you will be unable to manipulate those elements in the views by the category or name (the category of that element is not a built-in category).
The second way is just a bit complicated, but it will give you the freedom to play with placed family instanced in a way like you did model those elements as a family and place in a project. So you will choose the name, category, family template file and material and after that instances will have all attributes that other elements have (that belong to the same category).
Please make sure that before you start using this script you back up your existing project model.
