The reasons why I made this video and the script update are following:
The previous script was created in Revit 2021 and it did not work in Revit 2022 (the reasons are explained in the video).
While I did work on updating the script I add a new feature which is the creation of the shared parameter that openings will use. That shared parameter will be automatically populated from the Dynamo script and you can use those values to annotate openings or to schedule openings information.
Please make sure that before you start using this script that you back up your existing project model.
Also, if you want to download this (and all other scripts) with my sample files please visit the Shop page.
The script uses the following Dynamo packages:
archilab v.2022.210.2522
Data-Shapes v.2022.2.96
Clockwork v.2.3.0
BimorphNodes v.4.0.13
GeniusLoci v.2021.11.10
Hello,
I have not tested the script with Revit 2023 and it will need adjustments to work with different families. Therefore, both tasks are possible, but they would require some time and would be charged as a custom script.
Hi, I would like to ask if this script is suitable for Revit 2023 as well. For the opening family, could I use my own family for the opening?
Thank you very much and I looking forward to your reply.
